Yesterday our daughter turned 8! We always have a little celebration with family on the kiddos real Birthdays...
and have a party with friends on another date. We surprised the birthday girl with a small picnic in the morning. I whipped up a last minute cake and picnic fare with pink lemonade. It was so fun to have a good old fashioned picnic in the backyard with vintage books and dolls...just like when we were children. You can totally eat cake in the morning on your Birthday right?!
