{Parties} Here comes Peter Rabbit...a whimsical woodland brunch at Peter's House

One upon a time there were 4 little Rabbits.....my favorite was Peter. Such a timeless classic that has thrilled children for decades....

When Easter rolled around this year...we decided to create a new original hand illustrated collection inspired by the Original story works of Beatrix Potter via Project Gutenburg. This snowballed into a  impromptu little enchanted party in the woods at "Peter's House".

We wanted to create a whimsical woodland setting with a pretty rustic feel...a nearby protected forest did the trick. We made a large beautiful old tree into a tree-fort with sticks complete with a hand painted Peter's House sign. Large logs became the perfect spot to curl up with a throw and pillows to read our favorite Peter story. A large circular tree trunk became the perfect table for drinks and treats. Peter even had easter eggs hidden about the bunny trail. :)

Sweet treats we created included:

Coconut Cotton-tails, Chocolate, Mocha and Pistachio French Macarons, Carrot Cupcakes, Flopsy's Famous Chocolate, Blue Raspberry Lemonade, Chocolate Easter Eggs, Peter's Favorite Juice, Three Tier Cotton-tail Coconut Carrot Cake.

A fun Easter brunch complete with our very own Peter Rabbit..aka our little darling Wellington. :)

  1. Hi, there. Last spring we did a Peter Rabbit bday party for our then-two-year-old grandson (it's posted on my blog if you'd like to see it), and I loved it, BUT it pales in comparison to your styling, and your paper products are just beautiful!! I went to your Etsy shop but the link didn't work. I didn't check through Etsy itself. Thought you'd want to know about the link if you're still on Etsy. Anyway, loved every detail! :) ~Zuni
