{A few of my favorite things} Spring Dresses from Ruche

I have spring on the brain! When spring takes over my mind...all I can think of are super cute dresses and vacation. In my quest for super cute dresses, I look to some of my favorite online shops. Ruche is one of my favorites. They have the cutest collections of vintage attire. I just adore their whimsical photo shoots!

{Freebie} Oompa Loompa doompety doo we have a little freebie for you!

Several years ago we had a very casual REAL party for our son and Wonka was the theme. One of our favorite movies of all time. Not a super styled party...just good old fashioned fun at home. How time flies...this party feels like forever and a day ago! We used our Wonka invitations for the party (back then 2009 when we first designed our wonka wrappers...there were none to be found. We were the first to have a wonka wrapper in the form of an invitation on etsy! ). For the party we created silly Caution signs to place in areas of the party zone...that we did not want children to enter (off limit areas like Mom's bedroom, the garage etc). They worked like a charm! The sign would also make a fun framed party prop. We thought it would be fun to share the sign with you! Follow to the bottom for the freebie.

Everything has beauty...

Confucius had it right when he said this wise quote. Everything does have beauty. Beauty is also in the eye of the beholder. Beauty is in the little things. Sometimes we do not stop to see the beauty because we are busy with life.

{Travel Deals} Hotwire Yay or Nay?

We travel so much throughout the year...and even being an airline family...we scour the Internet for the best possible deals. Sometimes travel sites  have even better deals as opposed to the discounts we can obtain. With that said...I can safely say since Hotwire was introduced...it is definitely our favorite and go to site for deals!  Sure we still check out hotels.com and expedia.com...but always find ourselves back at Hotwire. YAY Hotwire!

{Travel Diaries} A visit to Georgetown Cupcakes - Washington, DC "aka" DC Cupcakes

On a recent trip to Washington...we visited the upscale neighbourhood of Georgetown. We had the pleasure of visiting the flagship store of Georgetown cupcakes.  YOU SEE...I have this HUGE bucket list that includes a million things (I think?) LOL...and clearly on that list... I am on a crusade to find the most yummiest....perfect cupcakes around the globe...I will be the first one to admit...this is definitely by far the yummiest crusade I have ever taken on. :) We LOVE Sprinkles Cupcakes as well...I was on a mission to see how Georgetown cupcakes stacked up to sprinkles....you can see our visit to sprinkles flagship store in Beverly hills here.

{Recipes} Gingerbread cupcakes with cinnamon cream cheese frosting - from The Georgetown Cupcake girls

On a recent trip to Georgetown...we had the pleasure of visiting the flagship store of Georgetown cupcakes...and yes they were yummy...that in a later post. ;)

We love the TLC hit DC Cupcakes with sisters Katherine and Sophie who run the iconic bakery just outside of Washington DC - Georgetown Cupcakes.

We immediately purchased the book "The cupcake diaries" when it hit the shelves way back. The first recipe we tried from this book was the Gingerbread cupcakes with cinnamon cream cheese frosting. We decorate ours with little fondant gingerbread men at Christmas time. We really like the recipe. It has that feeling of baking we would only get from Grandmas.

We decided to create them as a Valentine Treat with little fondant hearts. They are a lovely cupcake for cold winter days with just the right amount of gingerbread flavor. :)

{New Collection + Inspiration} A Girl should be two things...Classy and Fabulous

Welcome to our Classy & Fabulous Collection + Inspiration Board.

Inspired by the Beverly Hilton Hotel Bygone days and our Beverly Hills Clients...as Coco Chanel would say.... A Girl should be two things...classy and Fabulous! This set reminds us of Hollywood icons like Liz Taylor and Joan Collins....who I always adored...growing up my grandmothers names were Liz Collins and Joan Taylor...reverse that and you have two leading ladies...in my book anyway. ;) Host a Red Carpet worthy Fashionista event for your special day!

{A client favorite} And I said what about breakfast at Tiffany's?

We designed this collection back in 2011 for a special client. It has been so popular in our shop since the day it launched. We have customized this for so many clients...many in the Hollywood and NY areas. :)

.....And I said what about Breakfast at Tiffany's? You are cordially invited to munch on donuts and breakfast at Tiffany's made famous by Audrey Hepburn's classic film....which this collection is inspired by. Catherine has always loved this iconic film and adores Audrey...and what girl does not dream about shopping at the flagship store?! This is the perfect theme for bridal showers, birthday's, Sweet Sixteens and Quinceanera! Personalized with your own name & CO. (company).

A New Year....of chasing dreams!

While I reflect on 2012...it was an amazing year! I was really tempted to do a year in review with images...but I knew it would never fit in one post. Everything I set out to do for 2012...I did...and I exceeded my wildest goals and dreams and then some.
